I am very pleased with the professionalism, expertise, and courtesy of the JES foundation team. Roberto, Keith, and Jose explained the encapsulation process to my complete satisfaction! They informed me of their arrival each day and promptly started work.They provided me with before and after pictures of the project so I could see the scope of work performed. They took time to answer my questions in the middle of their work and ensured my understanding. They did a thorough job of cleaning up the work area and left contact information for follow up concerns. Blake Snidow was excellent. I would have gave him 10/10 stars if I could. He started our inspection today, on time, & called when on his way. Which around where we live, it’s hard to even get a contractor out to our house. Besides being on time, Blake was efficient and professional the entire time. Making everything easy for us to understand and giving us options on what to do and why. For 2 old people we definitely appreciate Blake’s patience and true passion for working. He’s a great representation of JES & Groundworks.

A very thorough and well described process. Matthew Grosse offered several work options with a variety of detailed payment options as well. Matthew simplified the description of the work process and it was easy to understand the necessary solutions to my particular problems. I would definitely recommend both Matthew Grosse and JES for any foundation issues your home may have.

JES did an excellent job on our crawl space. We had water accumulating around the whole perimeter of the crawl space. We had also had a…
JES did an excellent job on our crawl space. We had water accumulating around the whole perimeter of the crawl space. We had also had a toilet leak causing black mold, which had been professionally cleaned up, but we wanted fresh insulation. The JES team arrived on schedule and worked diligently to remove the insulation above and the flimsy plastic that covered the earthen floor of the crawl space. They then laid rubber matting and white membrane over the dirt and put thick styrofoam on the walls. They dug a trench around the perimeter and installed 2 sump pumps and 2 dehumidifiers to deal with future water. Meanwhile a separate team arrived to put foam under our patio to stop it from sliding away from the house. Everyone called before they arrived and each member of this large team was always professional and answered all questions thoroughly. They cleaned up well each day which I thoroughly appreciate. I want to add that Brian Swain was an amazing leader and manager of his 5 to 7 man crawl space team. He kept the project on schedule, kept me informed about progress and what would happen when, and always made himself available to answer questions. Thank you, Brian! Bryan Rutherford did a great job putting foam under the patio and sealing where it meets the house. The crawl space team, Gio Ordonez, Mohamed Kamara, and Pedro Llontop worked hard each day and were always professional. Superintendent Demetrius Cooper came by to ensure everything was going well and he answered additional questions and made great recommendations. Overall the whole crew was excellent. I highly recommend this team, their dedication to doing the work well and their professionalism.

The next day, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from JES, and we set a date and time for him to come to my home to check the problems I had with the work. This person never showed up. Was he even with JES or was someone trying to scam me in some way? I searched his phone number online and nothing came up.

Luis, Eduardo and Jose C were the on-site crew and were nothing short of amazing. When unknow issues were found they were quick to talk to those in your office and provide multiple solution choices. I had my crawlspace encapsulated last fall, but one of the dehumidifiers indicated that the battery should be replaced. The service tech, Rick Holt, did a thorough inspection, checked both dehumidifiers and sump pumps, inspected my foundation and pointed out a couple of minor things that needed my attention. He went above and beyond my expectations. I would give him six stars if I could.

These guys worked as a team and accomplished the job in a timely manner. The guys were very professional and volunteered information as they worked. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Jay Hyman, came right out and identified the problem. He told me what my options were, and how much everything would cost. A date and time was scheduled for the work to be done. Abdoul and his team came out on the scheduled date and time and did a great job. They were very polite, friendly, and professional. Abdoul welcomed questions and was very knowledgeable. They also cleaned up very well afterwards. I would highly recommend JES Foundation to anyone who needs this type of work done.

Joe A. and his team crushed our crawlspace encapsulation. They came out the start day and walked the job site with me and put my mind at ease. Joe worked late the first day to make sure the job got done but had to return to install a pump to the dehumidifier. They did it this morning which took them no time. I would recommend JES and Joe’s team to anyone in need of waterproofing or encapsulation.

Our problem was that we had over 1.5 inch of sag from the center of the house. It was affecting door and window operation. Also had a musty smell. Finally had enough and called JES. Ryan came out the next day and did an estimate. There is only 18 inches of space under the house. Ryan low crawled every inch of it and showed me pictures and explained what would have to be done. The solution was going to be running beams along the east and west side of the house. Digging 12 holes, installing 12 jacks and raising the sides of the house to support the floor. Then encapsulate the crawl space. Day one. Emilio and Edward show up. Clear out all the old insulation and junk. Dig 12 holes. Then get the ground ready for the jacks. Day two… They return and set up the jacks and lift the sides of the house. I'm making this sound too easy. Remember, they are on their bellies with 18 inches of space digging holes by hand and doing all this work. Day three… David, Zeke, John, and Elvis show up to do the encapsulation. In 18 inches of space, they crawled around and got the work done. They ran out of day. Said they needed to come back next mooring. Day four… they came back for about three hours to finish up. This was a very tough project. Very cramped space for three days. Both crews got it done in the time promised. They greatly exceeded expectations.

Damon T came up with a convincing sales pitch, and we were impressed by the thoroughness of the plan. We ended up declining one small portion of Damon's original plan – after consultation with Tash and his team during the installation process. The company took the full price off our bill. The crew of Tash, Justin, Maurice, and Drew were highly professional in their 2-day stint at our house waterproofing the basement. Very pleased with how they answered our questions. The team had a disagreement with another part of the original sales plan, but their plan ended with a much better solution for our basement. The original plan had the bottom of our carpeted stairs to be torn up, but crew leader Tash had a much less destructive action plan. We are very impressed by the way they tunneled the drains from room to room with little or no extra destruction. The team also worked very hard both days, taking very few breaks and maximizing their time here.Our only suggestion would be for the original salesperson to have either face to face or telephone discussion with the work team leader prior to the team coming out. What is projected on paper may not always be the easiest plan to carry out. Tash made many good points that led to a better final product from our perspective.All in all, we were pleased with this company's product, from Damon's sales pitch to Tash's team's installation. Great guys all, friendly, professional, and very polite! Thanks for a great experience!

Freddy, Jesus, and Juan did a great job with the installation. They were efficient and the process only took a few hours. Justin the electrician was also really great. And Steven our salesman was very helpful and informative. The price was fair too. I would recommend JES Foundation if you need your crawl space encapsulated.

Dustin Gee, Jordan McCaleb, and Drezdyn Davis did a fantastic job solidifying my house by extensive shimming of existing cinderblock supports and installation of seven intellijacks, which are adjustable columnar supports. They are great guys to deal with, and I use JES in an ongoing basis for crawlspace work. Highly recommended!!

JES was amazing, from start to finish. My estimator was thorough and professional, helping me understand what issues he had identified and how JES would work to remediate it, and helping me work through financing as well. Communication from the scheduling group and the work crews was clear and anticipated my needs; and the teams were on-time, communicating expected and actual arrival. The work crews were a delight to have here. In particular, Tyrone, John, Amir, Kevin, Jackie, and Shai were easy, fun, and kind with one another — all while working extremely hard to tunnel through the worse ice storm this area has seen in 15 years, in order to finish my job on time and precisely as described. They also dug me and my daughter out, when we were stuck in the snow bank on our way to school for the day. That is above and beyond! This is my second time working with JES, and I would hire them again. Highly recommended.

T. Jason DeBosky Was the inspector that came to my home to Address a problem I was having with my sidewalk. Jason took the time to explain how the problem I was having could be fixed. He was easy to talk to, very professional patient and knowledgeable. He Gave me opportunities to ask questions & he Provided answers that allowed me to make the decision to go ahead with the project. The day the work started the foreman Bryan Took the time to explain the different outcomes that could possibly happen after the sidewalk was lifted, He wanted to make sure that I fully understood the process and he too gave me the opportunity to ask questions, the answers he provided helped me to make the decision to go ahead with the project. He & the installer Seth were awesome, they were respectful of the property & vehicles making sure the vehicle was properly covered so that no debris would blow on it. . They both were skillful, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I am so very happy with the outcome of the work they performed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JES!

When we bought our old house, the original weep tile had collapsed over time and ground water was seeping into our basement. We also had a crawl space from a 1920’s addition that was dry but needed sealing. Groundworks (which was Foundation Systems of Michigan at the time), did a great job. The perimeter of the entire basement was opened up for new drain tubing and the walls were covered with their vapor membrane. Amazing what a dry basement can do for a house. Since then, we’ve added on and required their services twice more. Always professional, conscientious about cleaning up afterwards (especially on the first job which was a big job), and willing to work with us on small updates. Dale and John are two excellent representatives for Groundworks and I highly recommend them.

Hats off to the awesome crew that raised our foundation this week! They were professional, friendly, worked efficiently, and left my yard better than it was before they started. There were a few hiccups in the beginning but our foreman, Manuel Guzman, sorted things out and worked towards the best solution. His team, Jose Cruz, Mayro, and Ruben and him worked so hard. I was truly impressed with their skill and so thankful that this was the crew I got for this job!

JES performed a full encapsulation for me last year, and I was extremely happy with the entire process. Chris Jones came today for the first yearly inspection and he was so thorough. From the start, he explained the entire process to me, asked if I had any questions, took his time with the inspection, and then went over what he observed, with photos at the end. I appreciated everything he had to say, and he made me feel comfortable, comfortable that there had been no changes in the crawlspace, and everything was working as intended.

Within three days of calling, JES had Chad onsite to do a thorough inspection. Based on our introductory conversation, I could tell Chad was very knowledgeable and experienced. He spent nearly two hours inspecting my home to identify the cause of the issue I was experiencing. Upon completion, Chad informed me that he and JES could not help. They couldn't help because the problem was not with my basement or foundation walls. Rather he pointed out two downspouts and a grading issue under the down spouts that were caus of my issues. It is not very often I have run across a true professional like Chad who did not put profit over honesty. Because he was honest, I have likely kept thousands of dollars in my pockets and JES Foundation Repair has earned my respect, my honest review, and all future references I make for them to friends and family in the area with foundation issues. What a wonderful crew they sent Marty and a younger guy worked for 3 hours in the heat pumping foam nonstop. I dont know what kind of void was under there but they had to come back on another day. The second time worked they filled in some cracks to the slab being lifted which is normal. I feel bad I didnt get the young guys name but I couldnt be happier with their professionalism and dedication to get the job done right.
