4 star due to scheduling issues I had and having to call to get the work completed.Joe Crossfield/David Gaskins/Larry and crew were great.Joe was the sales guy that came out to quote us for the work. He was very polite and was honest about what needed to be done. He didn’t upsell us on any add ons and helped us save a little bit of money by offering alternatives for the encapsulation project.Larry and crew: they came and did the work and did a great job. Cleaned up after themselves and completed the work. Not sure if it was the day or the overwhelming work the crew had, but I felt like I was rushed when I asked questions and felt like an inconvenience when I did asked questions. So I didn’t appreciate that.David Gaskins: was polite and explained how to clean the dehumidifier and all that. Explained what the RH% should be in the crawlspace and showed me how to work the dehumidifier. I originally called because I wanted my encapsulated crawlspace to be at 40% RH but it wasn’t getting there. He explained to me that it is possible for the machine to get down that low but explained the issue that I may have with my foundation and wood beam. He was very honest and did not rush me when I was asking the questions.Cons:-After paying the deposit, I had to give the office a call to schedule my appointment. I would think that they would call me to schedule and get it on the books, but that did not happen.-the scheduler scheduled the encapsulation, but not the electricians subcontractor. You would think that they should schedule the electrician first before the work so that the work is totally complete once the crew comes. I ended up calling the office, getting the phone number to the electricians, and calling the electricians myself to get something scheduled since the office could only email the subcontractor to be put on the books.

“We were referred by our realtor to contact Omar to inspect our sunken driveway, although our driveway is bricked and he didn’t offer this service (only concrete) he did give us a referral to a contractor and gave us a free inspection for our foundation. He was very professional,extremely patient, friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much on the different services that JES has to offer. We contacted JES to come out to give us an estimate for spray insulation in the crawl space to help with the cold floors in our home. Blake Snidow came out to meet with us. He went in the crawl space and did an inspection. He found we had several issues under there that he suggested we take care of first. Blake came back after reviewing and gave us several options to correct our issues. He did a great job explaining everything. Unfortunately at this time being on a fixed income we are not going to fix the issues. When we can do it we will definitely call JES.

What a wonderful crew they sent Marty and a younger guy worked for 3 hours in the heat pumping foam nonstop. I dont know what kind of void was under there but they had to come back on another day. The second time worked they filled in some cracks to the slab being lifted which is normal. I feel bad I didnt get the young guys name but I couldnt be happier with their professionalism and dedication to get the job done right.

I needed my crawlspace encapsulated, support jacks added, and some downspouts buried to get water away from my foundation. Devin C., Delonta K., and Jacob H. went above and beyond, exceeding my already-high expectations. They were upfront about exactly what was going to be done each day they were onsite, informed me where they were going when they left, and were really helpful in answering all of my questions along the way. This crew really did a great job and I can't recommend them enough. It was super hot out and they pushed through and completed the work ahead of schedule while still keeping high standards and quality of work.Ask for this crew by name. They were that good.

My experience with Groundworks was great. My project involved releveling segments of a large patio and driveway area that had experienced settling and cracking at some of the joints and across some of the pads. Tommy came out and inspected the job, informed me of the process and the expected end result. The 5 yr warranty on the work sold me! After accepting the quote and scheduling the work the crew, Alex Campbell, Manny E and Damien A arrived onsite on time and we got started. Most notable for me was how the crew involved me and communicated with me throughout the entire job. They were professional, knowledgeable and polite. We started with a site inspection and discussed my expectations, then they filed me in on the process and then got to work. At every critical juncture of the job they engaged me to ensure my satisfaction with process and result. At the end of the day they exceeded all of my expectations and I was very satisfied with the result. I was so impressed with the work that while onsite we added to the scope of the job and they reinforced another slab in another area of the yard to ensure the location would hold up to the increased loading. I would highly recommend Groundworks for your concrete leveling job!

I just received a visit from Inspector Andre Williams. I was happy to receive a text message to confirm the arrival time. I also received an arrival text. This heads up allowed me the opportunity to move my feisty dog to another room. Andre's visit was due to a request I put in for a warning signal that has been repeating for the last week. Andre explained the reason for the signal, and immediately resolved the problem. That definitely put me at ease. Thank you so much Andre. The signal was driving me crazy, but now I feel sanity returning. Wonderful!

JES Foundation Repair had the lowest pricing and the fastest response time–and I consulted with several other waterproofing companies that said there's no way any company would do the job at that price! I hired JES Foundation to waterproof the exterior of my home and install a crawlspace dehumidifier. The crew of Henry A. Portillo, Jose Rubio, and Jose R. Garcia did a great job of digging down to my footers, putting membrane and drain tile, and then backfilling the exterior. We had some miscommunication about the scope of the work, but Rudy made sure to send another crew and get the work done exactly as I expected it. And then Rudy sent both a mason and a handyman to fix any damage that was done by the Bobcat. I'd highly recommend JES Foundation Repair.

They also took the time to re-tape an area of my encapsulation which had been taken up by a plumber. They conducted a thorough inspection of moisture levels in my crawlspace and advised on my concerns about potential clogged drain tiles in my garage and what to monitor. Our 18 year old basement was filling with rain water more and more as time went on as much as 2 1/2 feet of water, so after seeing the Evergreen/JES commercials many time's we decided to give them a call, Our initial meet and greet was with Jack Hill, the appointment was at our convenience and Jack was exactly on time, seriously nice guy right from the start, we sat down and he explained everything in plan English, no fancy technical stuff like others would throw at you, we then went outside and looked around the foundation and then we went into the basement for him to take measurements, he took his time and I feel he did everything right, we then go back upstairs to discuss our options, he was not pushy trying to sell me what we didn't need, after the job there crew finished, which was an awesome job Jack followed up with me to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction, It's been 1 1/2 years since the job was completed and Jack continues to follow up with me to make sure everything is still good, AND OUR BASEMENT CONTINUES TO STAY DRY AFTER ALL THE MAJOR FLOODING RAINS WE HAD THIS YEAR!!!!!

When we bought our old house, the original weep tile had collapsed over time and ground water was seeping into our basement. We also had a crawl space from a 1920’s addition that was dry but needed sealing. Groundworks (which was Foundation Systems of Michigan at the time), did a great job. The perimeter of the entire basement was opened up for new drain tubing and the walls were covered with their vapor membrane. Amazing what a dry basement can do for a house. Since then, we’ve added on and required their services twice more. Always professional, conscientious about cleaning up afterwards (especially on the first job which was a big job), and willing to work with us on small updates. Dale and John are two excellent representatives for Groundworks and I highly recommend them.

JES Foundation Repair was the most responsive, professional, and customer service oriented of all the companies I reached out to for quotes. Mack came to inspect the job and was more thorough than I was. He took the time to explain the company and the procedure, while inviting any questions I had. Once the contract was signed and the job scheduled, Bryan and Chris came to do the concrete work. They also asked if we had any questions and let us know what we could expect as a result. They took care of the job in less than an hour. We're very happy with the entire process and the results!

The personnel at JES Foundation Repair Ashland were consummate professionals from the beginning of the process to the end. Our 90-plus-year-old house was sinking by 2" in its middle, so it was imperative that we right the foundation. Tice, utilizing high-tech equipment, assiduously inspected our house for a full four hours, going through every possible detail in a comprehensive and fully comprehensible way–including his offering of affordable financing. In addition, he kept in contact with us every step of the way, patiently answering our multitudinous queries and most importantly aiding us in navigating the permitting process through Albemarle county. Roberto and Oscar, who did the install of a dozen beams and a sump pump, were highly knowledgeable, had numerous years of experience, and worked tirelessly in their doing of a superior job on site; they also did a nice job of cleaning up on the last day. Materials were of the highest quality–there was no cutting corners with JES. All went seamlessly from the beginning of the process to its culmination. I have no reservations whatsoever about JES Foundation and the work they did, and would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone–the peace of mind they brought us, knowing that our house's foundation is once again stable, is priceless.

Phillip sets the standard for exemplary customer service, professionalism, and knowledge. His service work on equipment in my crawl space was five star! His understanding of the challenges a cracked beam presents allowed him to explain the repair process clear and concisely. I went with JES on encapsulating my crawl space and replacing almost half of the massive joists several years ago; I'm absolutely sticking with them on shoring up the beam. Yes, they are expensive; their quality work is worth every penny!
