I recently understood what the cracks in the walls meant. *sigh* I did some research and contacted JES Foundation. I got an immediate response and inspection date. The team sent Michael Kim to assess my issue. Now, finding out that your house is shifting is not good news. Why? Cost? Fear? Is my house going to sink? However, Mike (Michael Kim of the Manassas office in VA) (hope he doesn't mind if I call him Mike) was very good at keeping me calm. He was very knowledgeable, kind and patient. I appreciate his dedication to his clients and his attention to detail and overall professionalism. I appreciate everything that has happened up to this date. I suspect I will be happy with the overall service. Greatly appreciated.

I would like to commend the JES team(s) that repaired my foundation and flooring in Nov/Dec 2022. Conan B., Eric Z., Corey B., Cameron M. and David H. all worked extremely hard to repair my 1958 rancher and I am very pleased with the results.They were all genuinely determined to do their best work and I am completely satisfied with the result. It was great to see the teamwork and the rapport between the crew and the managers.I learned a lot from them about foundation repair and sagging wooden floors so that was a bonus! Thanks guys!Mary B.

JES installed my sump pump in October 2023. Today (9/25/24) was my annual maintenance appointment to be sure that everything was working well with it. My technician, Ben, contacted me on 9/24/24 to check in with me on any possible issues that he needed to be made aware of prior to my appointment as well as to confirm my appointment. Very professional and polite. Fast forward to the appointment, Ben arrived on time, once again was very professional. I showed him where it was installed so he could get to work. Unbeknownst to both Ben and I, well there was no power going to the sump pump. That was as easy as flipping a switch on the breaker box. Then, Ben noticed a leak in the piping that was installed when the sump pump was installed. Ben ended up having to cut my drywall in which JES will incur the cost to repair it back. But this was nothing he couldn't handle although he did have to make an unexpected run to Home Depot/Lowes to get the tool needed to cut the pipe. Ben returned in a decent amount of time and got right to work. Ben repaired the pipe, cleaned the sump pump bucket, and ensured everything was working correctly. Towards the end of the appointment, Ben made a few recommendations and ending up finding out that the piping that is coming out of the from of my house that pushes the water out was installed incorrectly and was not was I paid for. Therefore, Ben made a call to his supervisor, Megan Hartman, to put her on notice about this issue as well. Ben assured me that someone from the service department would reach out to me to schedule repairs for the piping outside as well as the wall repair. Overall, I would give Ben a 10/10 and would highly recommend him as your service tech. He made sure to answer any questions I had to the best of his ability, remain professional, kept me informed throughout the whole appt, valued me as a paying customer, and advised me that if I had any further questions after this appt that I shouldn't hesitate to reach out to him. Ben was AWESOME‼

We had a lovely free inspection with Chris Routten today. He was scheduled for 90 minutes to diagnose an issue with water leaking in our basement and we ended up taking 3 hours of his time! He was so thorough, finding some additional weak spots for us. He provided a solution to our current issue, as well as options we were interested to hear regarding some longer term fixes. The most relieving part is he was not super “salesy” – so I felt I could make the right decision for work to do now versus later. Highly recommend.

I had a consultation with Paul Grauer yesterday, and I must say I was extremely impressed with how thorough and professional he was throughout the entire process. He took the time to clearly explain the company, the foundation repair process, and how the materials would be applied, ensuring I fully understood every step. What stood out to me most was the level of care and patience he showed during our conversation. He even encouraged me to call my wife so she could be included in the discussion and have all of her questions answered as well. At no point did I feel rushed — he made sure we were comfortable, informed, and confident in the process. That level of customer service and attention to detail is exactly what earned my business. I posted a complaint about 4 months ago regarding an issue I was having with the system installed by JES a few years ago. I want to provide an update. The JES team of Rick, Matt, Dalton, Davonte, and especially JR, we're excellent in resolving the issue. They effectively evaluated the situation, took ownership of the problem, and quickly established a plan to remedy the situation. They were efficient in executing their plan and I am beyond satified with the end results. Everyone exemplified professionalism, were courteous, and respectful. JR's follow up was on point and I am so glad that he was spearheading the effort. Thank you JES. You definitely exceeded my expectations.

Very friendly and explained everything they were doing. I don’t know how this could have gone smoother. Adam, the electrician, was great as well. He was prompt, courteous and professional. We did finally decide on the job, but unfortunately were unable to go through with the home improvement at this time. I contacted JES Foundation Repair to fix my sinking driveway and I was completely impressed by the professionalism and dedication demonstrated by everyone I met. Bryan Rutherford and Morgan Oakley arrived at my home right on time. They were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They started working right away, also took the time to thoroughly explain to me the entire process and gave me an accurate estimated time of completion. When the job was about 90% finished, unfortunately a piece of equipment broke down. They finished the remaining tasks as much as they could, cleaned the worksite and promised to come back a week later to complete the job, as soon as the faulty equipment was fixed. To my surprise, Bryan called me the next morning and told me that he’d be back on that day, as he was concerned about the unsealed area of the driveway and wanted to take care of it right away. He managed to find a workaround, drove to my house (out of his way) and completed the remaining job. They did such a fantastic job my driveway almost looks like a new one again! Thank you, Bryan, Morgan, Jesse for your help. I would not hesitate to recommend JES Foundation Repair to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy concrete repair.

They also followed up on their work by checking back with us a few days later to ensure we were satisfied. I'd especially like to thank Chaun and his crew for their exceptional work. A clear master of his trade, Chaun ensured our concerns were met beyond expectations. JES / Greg Shock is the real deal. On time to Avon North Carolina, dialed in, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we were comfortable with the entire process. The results? Outstanding. Our boat ramp looks phenomenal after the concrete lift—solid, clean, and like new again. True craftsmanship, attention to detail, and zero shortcuts. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

This review is solely for the estimator that came to my home, Michael. He was on time, knowledgeable, pleasant, patient, and kind. He walked me through the whole process, answered all my questions, and showed me photos of past projects. He followed up in a timely manner as I was going through several estimates and shared their price matching and other estimate details. In the end, I went with another company but his professionalism and thoughtfulness are a strong and bright reflection of JES and how they treat their employees and how their employees care about their company!

It's very rare to find a service provider these days who look out for you like JES Foundation Repair did for me. Look at my reviews, I've been doing this a while and I don't mind calling them like I see them. I went into this with GREAT trepidation. I have had so many service providers try to overcharge, never call back, talk over my head, just fill in the blank. In EVERY point of this effort I was blown away. They should get an award for customer service for the communication alone! I set up an inspection and they sent me a confirmation. Beforehand, I got a note. On his way, Corey gave me a call. Then, when he arrived I had a true expert on my hands. Like a CSI episode he gave the problem a detail investigation. Here I am worried about all the other service work I've had done. Corey gave me his professional assessment, we discussed it, and away we went. At no point in my entire experience with JES was I let down. I am a phenomenal fan and will always highly recommend them for your foundation needs.

You can’t be cheap when it comes to foundation repairs. JES is expensive, but you have access to knowledgeable engineers and consultants (Andrew Sean Wheeler), and their crews are quick and competent (foreman Jaime Castillo and Joel and Erick). If you live near the Potomac and have issues with marine clay, go straight to JES.

Paul came to my home to provide an estimate on insulation replacement. He called to inform me he was ahead of schedule and to get permission to arrive a little earlier. He was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and upfront. He provided a full inspection of my crawl space with a video showing exactly where the issues were with my insulation and mold. I felt he was very thorough and honest in his findings and I appreciate that even though the estimate was free, he did not try to force me to make an immediate purchase commitment.

To start, Our Sales representative Blaine Harvey was very professional. Did a complete inspection of the property. Made a few recommendations but really focused and addressed our concern/problem areas. This is greatly appreciated.Roberto and Jose Martinez, the installation crew were very polite and professional as well. Addressed all concerns and answered every question showing their expertise in the field. They were very clean throughout the installation. Under the house was left better than before. We had plastic underneath but needed to be removed in order for them to work. Did not expect them to re-line the ground upon completion but they used heavy duty plastic as a replacement. This is greatly appreciated. It is always the little things that make the difference in projects to homeowners. I would like to also mention Jo in the Richmond area office. Was very helpful in getting the information on the account up to date and taking the payment over the phone. Very well spoken and appreciate the small chit chat. She was a tremendous asset. We will need future work (Cleanspace) and would like to work with JES again.Thank youAndrea

JES sent Marcelo Flores to do the initial inspection and he helped me understand everything I needed to do to make the solution successful. Marcelo even responded to text messages when I had questions later. The installation was done only a few weeks later by Quintin Holthaus, Damien Files, Dante McKenzie, and Eric Townes. These gentlemen discovered that my footer was an unexpected size and they went above and beyond to adapt to this. They were also very positive and polite at all times. They worked well together as a team. I am very impressed with JES and highly recommend them to anyone!

JES does quality work and stands behind their work. We had our crawl space encapsulated. Their product was definitely sturdier and of a higher quality than others. James is great to work with; he came back to make sure the crawl space was clean. I would recommend JES and James for foundation and crawl space work.
